ORCA Learn to Run Clinic
Here we go again! Start 2026 by joining us for a gentle, safe, and fun training program.
The Oceanside Running Club Association is pleased to again offer a winter/spring Learn to Run
Program for adults 19 years or older who want to learn or re-learn healthy running skills at a
personalized pace in a friendly and supportive environment. Build your endurance and find your stride,
gradually increasing to 40-45 minutes of continuous running or run/walk/running over the course of 15 weeks.
We meet in all kinds of weather (exception- ice/snow on sidewalks) so appropriate dress is recommended. Strongly that participants have their own personal reflective safety vests and/or personal flashing safety lights as it will stil be dark in the evenings during the initial 6 weeks
Whether your goal is to establish a regular running or run/walking routine to improve your fitness; or to build a base for future longer distance challenges; or simply to train for the Oceanside Mother’s Day 5K Run, then this is the way to start your journey!
Level: Beginners, former runners, and runners returning from injury.
Cost: $45.00 includes a 2026 ORCA membership, wrap-up social event, and entry (non-transferable) to the 5K portion of the Oceanside Mother’s Day 10 K Run and 5K Run/Walk on May 10, 2026.
